Welcome Nathaniel Llacar!

One of our joyous day of our lives just got better on September 14th 2009. God has again blessed us with the gift of life, Nathaniel Perfecto Viana Llacar. Born 6lbs and 5 ounces at Los Robles Memorial Hospital in Thousand Oaks. Nathaniel and his mom Rachelle are doing fine. You can bet that I brought one of my dSLRs with me to document this beautiful event! I should have blogged about this event the week Nathaniel was born but it got a little hectic the following weeks.  Rachelle and Nathaniel went home the following Friday. What we were anticipating so much was how our first son, Jordan will accept Nathaniel as part of the family. When I picked him up from daycare and finally introduced Jordan to Nathaniel. His first “greeting” to his brother was a big old KISS in the forehead. I was so touched by this moment, that I almost cried! Since that day, Jordan just wants to give Nathaniel a kiss all the time.  We are very careful to also make sure that the older brother gets as much “love” as his newer brother to lessen any jealousy. So far it has been good, but it is a delicate balance of making sure each “kid” gets their due attention.
