[b] School Headshot Exchange Photo Shoot 11.30.2008 South Pasadena

I am very fortunate to be involve with a community of professionals that are not only so talented but actually cares about you and the industry that we are in. The [b] school is online community of professional photographers who has chosen to learn-grow-connect-interact with its peers. This online community was founded by Orange County Wedding Photographer, [b]ecker (aka Christopher Becker). The Wedding Photography Industry is EXPLODING. There are so many NEW photographers in the industry that is important that we help them learn all aspects of this exciting industry. I am relatively new and yet I have so much to learn. I will NEVER stop learning and I am so fortunate that my peers are eager to help each other no matter what.  This is truly an industry that CARES about each other.

One of the many benefits of belonging to an online community of wedding photographers is on occasion we hold get-togethers, not only to meet each other in person, but to get to know each other on a personal level and to LEARN from each other. On November 30th Sunday, six wedding and portrait photographers met at South Pasadena for a “headshot” exchange.

1. Joel Arrellano of Joel Arrellano Photography

2.  Jenny Hsieh of Fairytale Dreamer Photography

3. Araxi Dertavitian of Araxi Photography

4. Heidi Ryder of HLA Photography and last but DEFINITELY not least

5. Lisa Scarsi of Lisa Scarsi Photography

What an awesome idea. Most mine are done with remotes and timers. :-)

I’m jealous of your get-together. We’re still trying to do that here in Central Florida. These pictures turned out really well and it looks like you had a lot of fun.
