The day started at The Double Tree Hotel in Carson, CA on Saturday, April 26th. I actually arrived a little too early as Ivee was still on the road on the way from her makeup appointment from the nearby Del Amo Fashion Center Mall. I waited for just a few minutes and sure enough I was about to call Ivee and she said has arrived with her sister visiting from Kansas. I mentioned to her congrats because the whole state just won the NCAA Mens Basketball Championship. If you are a Jayhawk fan that is. Along with her sister, her mom came with Ivee’s kids, Nicolle, Marcus Jr., and Izabelle. Her future husband’s kids was along for the ride as well, Alexus and Sarah.
Ivee and Marcus wed a t a very small chapel in Torrance called Cherished Chapel. It was a very small and intimate wedding, about 50 guests were invited. I felt so honored to capture their wedding day for them. I have known Ivee since high school, and I as teenager once, I hung out often with his older brother, Rainer. Flowers and Ivee’s beautiful bouquet were provided by Rey and Rushelle of Perfect Arrangements in Carson, CA. The reception was held at the nearby Macaroni Grill in Torrance. Even though it was just a “small” wedding, I thought it was a very beautiful wedding. Ivee wore a gorgeous wedding gown, and Marcus was very sharp with a pinstripe suit.
