yay! My very first bridal show. Well sorta. As one of my goals for 2008, is to establish and network with other vendors near my area. One of the vendors I met,Lisa Donahue of ForHeavensCakes in Thousand Oaks has invited me to “drop by” her booth at this Sunday, January 13th at The Bridal Premiere at the Hyatt in Westlake Village. She says over 800 brides will present at the show. She says to bring tons of business cards, and she will be glad to pass them out for me. She also said if there is anything else I can give her besides business cards. So I thought about it today, I decided to make postcards from Photoshop. I used one of the vendor templates that Pictage offers, its really for an 8X10 but I shrunk it down to a 4X6 and sent it to my printer at gotprint.com. I also redesigned my business cards slightly and I ordered about 2500 of them from gotprint.com as well. So I am pretty excited about this show next Sunday. I don’t expect too to get any bookings but at least it will provide me some major exposure. Check out the postcard I made:
