Event Cards that I can call my own….

I thought I should design my own EVENT CARDS for one of my clients, Jamie, when she and Dan ties the knot on May 3rd of 2008. I plan to pass these around to all her guests during the reception so it’s going to be SUPER EASY for her guest to view and order prints from her wedding. I will be posting her wedding images through my online gallery and fulfillment lab, Pictage sometime after their event. I asked for her wedding colors, and she said two of them were Sage Green and Chocolate Brown. I opened up Adobe Photoshop CS3, I then created my own template, but I was staring through a blank screen for hours. I honestly had NO idea how to design and create one. I am no graphic designer, unlike my brother Carlo, who can put together some AMAZING designs. Anyway, I looked thru the Pictage Forums and there was an old thread about event cards that were designed by them. I looked through them and I thought their designs was simply beautiful and awe inspiring. Mine was rather simple, check it out! I did not want it too complex and “busy”. I would like their guests to understand the steps so they can easily view Jamie and Dan’s photos when they become available. I thought I did a pretty good job. Jamie thought so too. Although she said I totally missed the colors, so I re-did them, then I sent them to her for “Approval”.

The Photo was taken from their E-session in Malibu, I then applied a Kevin Kubota Sloppy Border Action to it, then “whala!!”

What do you think?
